Jana Carter | Business Relation Consultant

Jana was born and raised in Ogden, Utah and attended Dixie State University where she received her Bachelor of Communications degree. Her love for the area compelled her to move her family to St. George.
Jana was employed by Dixie State University in 2002, at the Business Resource Center, formerly known as the Dixie Business Alliance. After having her second child, she returned as the Executive Assistant to the Director of Site Select Plus, formerly Washington County Economic Development Council. She became the Assistant Director a few years later and continued to assist with the recruitment, expansion, and retention of primary industries such as Viracon, Litehouse Inc, and Family Dollar Distribution Center just to name a few.
As the Business Expansion and Retention Director, she assisted business such as Helidyne Power, Family Dollar DC, Environmental StoneWorks, Berry’s Manufacturing, and Wilson Electronics with their expansions adding many jobs and increasing tax revenue for Washington County.
She served on the What’s Up Down South Economic Summit planning committee as the Logistics Coordinator for 12 years and was the Director of the event for her final year with the summit. The summit is the largest business gathering in Washington County held annually in January with over 1,000 attendees.
Jana is currently the Business Development Director at Vantage Real Estate, a Commercial Real Estate firm in St. George, Utah. She holds a real estate agent license and takes a positive approach to problem solving, giving her clients excellent service making each transaction seamless.
